3 cups Basmati rice
1 cup cooked and shredded meat –(chicken
1½ cup mixed vegetable cut fine –
(carrot, beans, cabbage)
2 eggs slightly beaten
2 onions chopped fine
½ capsicum chopped fine
2-3 stalks spring onion chopped fine
2 tbsp refined oil
1 tbsp salad oil
¾ tsp MSG (Aginamoto)
Salt, pepper powder to taste
½ tsp Soya sauce
Wash and soak rice for 20 minutes, par
boil in salted water. Drain out the water
and spread rice out on tray to dry.
Fry egg batter and cut in strips.
Heat oil in a wok (kadhai). Add onions
and fry till transparent. Add the meat and
the vegetables. And fry for two minutes.
Add capsicum and white pepper powder, add
rice and mixed gently. Fry on a medium heat
till rice is evenly hot. Garnish with egg
strips and spring onion.
